Hello again
Soon we will celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s on the 14th. Then comes my 42nd wedding anniversary to my lovely wife, Marilyn. That happens on the 22nd.
Now for the rest of the news. Here’s what’s happening with Marinelli Christian Books.
New Books…I now have two new books. I expect one to be published this month and one next month. They are: “The Christian Life Digest” which is a layman’s commentary on all things Christian…over 500 pages in 45 chapters covering lots of Christian doctrine and teachings.
Next is…” Reality Squared”, a teaching on how to attain and enjoy the reality of God. This is a 172-page book full of Bible text that shows how to please the Lord and walk with him in this crazy upside-down world.
I am also working on a book called, “It’s Your Call, or Is It? That takes a deeper look at the sovereignty of God and the free will of man.
Children’s Books… If you have small kids or grandkids that are 1-6 years old, I have three books that would be perfect. They are: “An Elephant Named Clyde”, “Mister Tugboat” and “Original Story Poems For Children of All Ages.” Check out marinellichristianbooks.com.
New… “Available Books” catalog… You can download our free 8-page catalog so you can keep it at hand when not in front of your computer. It has a description of each book, now over 30 titles.
Bible Seminar… I am considering hosting a “Bible Seminar” at one of the Marion County libraries in March. I have not yet set the date, but I would like to know if any of my email and Facebook friends are interested in the Bible Seminar. The topic will be “The End of The World.” It will be a 90-minute session with questions and answers at the end. We will cover why planet earth is going to be destroyed; how it will happen; who can escape the coming destruction? What happens next? What signs can we look for of the end? who is the Antichrist; and several other related topics.
Please drop me a line at johnmarinelli@embarqmail.com and let me know if you are interested in coming to this free seminar. That will help me plan for seating and pick a suitable location.
Audiobook… I just finished an audiobook. The audiobook is available on Amazon’s Audible Books. However, it is a membership thing. You cannot download it to listen unless you are a member of Audible Books. If you are, let me know and I will send you a free access link. The audio is about 3-hours. The topic is, “Believer’s Handbook of Battle Strategies.”
Word for the day…This is a word from Jesus, spoken when he was on earth over 2000 years ago. It was recorded by the apostle John, found in his gospel letter, chapter 3 verse 16.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
If we believe in him, as the only begotten Son of God, we will escape end time judgment of the damned and realize the love of almighty God all the days of our life here on earth. Now, that’s a good word for our every day. (The Biblical meaning of “Believing” is to rely upon, adhere to, and to trust in. It is not just a passing acknowledgment that he exists. It is a life commitment that changes your destiny.)
February Blog… Watch for my 2/24 Blog. It is a brief study of how the Bible came to be. It is really interesting. Lots of history.
Book Publishing… I am looking for one Christian that wants to write a Christian themed book. It can be fiction, non-fiction, romance, “How To” teachings, personal experience, poetry, recipe or some other topic. E-mail me with your ideas to johnmarinelli@embarqmail.com.
Monday Karaoke… Mondays are usually a slow day with little or no fun stuff to do. Now, all that has changed. Bart’s Monday karaoke is super fun. It’s at Mc Calls in the Villages from 1 to 4 pm…. .See you there.
Questions and Answers… If you have a question concerning what to do in any given situation or need clarification on a Bible text, I can help. I will research it for you in the scriptures and report back in a private confidential eMail. Just drop me a line.
Well, that’s it for this month.
Until next time
