The steps of a good man
Are ordered by the Lord.
He leads us by still waters
Until our souls are restored.
Our pain and suffering
Are all taken away.
Replaced with great hope
For a brand-new day.
He orders our steps
By Holy Spirit’s breath,
That we may overcome
Satan, Sin and Death.
The steps of a good man,
Are not entirely his own.
They’re given by God
So he doesn’t walk alone.
