We seem to be living in the “Now & Then” of life. It’s March 2023 and what of it.? The clouds are still passing us by. The economy is still not so great. The crime is still on the increase and some of us are depressed.
However, we can still be happy. It is a choice. I call it the, “To Be or Not To Be” happiness perspective. If you were to make a list of things that make you happy, how long would it be? I’ll bet that the process would bring a lot of fond memories and most likely lift your spirit. In any case, it’s worth the effort.
While you are working on your, “Happy List”, I want to share my new books with you. The 1st one is called, “Heaven, Hell, and beyond” It’s about, guess what? Heaven, Hell and after that. “Heaven, Hell and Beyond is a Bible presentation that discusses the reality of heaven and hell as real, having a physical location. It also presents life after all is said and done.
Particular attention is paid to how to get into heaven and how to avoid hell. Several well-known personalities are quoted on some issues as well as the PEW report on trending theological thought.
This is an easy read that is packed full of truth, facts, and Bible based assumptions. It is well worth your time.
My goal in publishing “Heaven, Hell and Beyond” is to call attention to the reality of after death destinations and life or death situations that may await the dying soul.
I have another book in the works that hopefully will also be in print sometime soon. It is called, “The Life and Destiny of The God-Man.” Here’s a summary of that one.
“The Life & Destiny of The God-Man” is a Biblical study of the incarnation of God into man, starting with man’s creation, continuing with Jesus and settling into the,” Whosevers” that believe in Christ as the only begotten Son of God.
Particular attention is paid to, “The Beast Within”, The, Born Again” experience and ” The Battle” between good and evil that rages in every human soul.
Discussions are also offered on: hearing the voice of God; Living a victorious life; The possibility of being left behind; Taking Dominion and the Final Judgment of humanity by God.
I have added specific encouraging Christian Poems to the text for the edification of the reader. Plus, a special link to 25 of my best poems put to music that are free to download when you purchase this book.
I don’t want to forget the book I am currently working on that will most likely come out in the late spring. It’s called, “The 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ and The Rapture of The Church.” It is all about end time happenings as per the Bible. Here’s a quick review:
The purpose of this book is to educate, inform and edify believers in Christ as to their divine destiny and encourage them to fight the good fight of faith.
I will be discussing the why, when, how and aftermath of Jesus’ return. We will look at some indicators that point to his 2nd coming.
We will discuss the concept of a “Rapture” and consider the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture opposed to a Mid, Post or None at all.
We will examine the possibility of the Church going through the 7-year tribulation period spoken of in the books of Daniel and Revelation. We will also discuss who, if any, will be raptured and who will not.
We will list and discuss the signs of his (Jesus’) coming and relate them to our day and times.
We will be using the King James version of the Bible to validate and support our premise and conclusions. Plus, we are adding more anointed Christian poetry to bless the reader.
Don’t forget the best karaoke in town at Mc Calls on Mondays from 1-4 pm and the Pub on Wednesdays at 5-8 pm. Bart does a great job and we all have fun. You don’t have to live in The Villages to attend. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t sing.
There is another book you should really read. This one is by my wife, Marilyn. It’s called, “My Collie Girls & Me.” It is about all the collies we have had over the years and how they blessed Marilyn as well as how God blessed our family through them. It’s also an easy read with lots of pictures.
